Dongqi Crane: 2025 Market Review & 2026 Outlook
A Message to Our Valued Partners and Potential Clients,
As we reflect on 2025, Dongqi Crane extends its gratitude to our global network of clients for their continued trust. The past year was one of significant expansion and diversification. With a total unit sales volume reaching a new milestone, we have strengthened our position across key market segments. The following review outlines our product line performance, supported by indicative sales distribution, to illustrate our market focus, the scale of our deployment, and the trust placed in our solutions by industries worldwide.
2025 Product Line Performance & Overview:
Our sales data reveals a balanced and growing portfolio, meeting demands from foundational lifting to advanced, efficient solutions.
1. Overhead Cranes: The Industrial Backbone (Approx. 26% of Total Volume)
This core category, essential for workshop-wide material handling, demonstrated robust and steady demand. The HD Series Bridge Cranes led the segment with deployments numbering in the hundreds of units, solidifying its dominance in heavy-duty sectors like steel, metal fabrication, and heavy machinery manufacturing. The versatile QD Series followed closely, with sales also in the hundreds, maintaining its stronghold in general manufacturing, assembly halls, and warehouse logistics. Models like the LH, LD, LX, and QB series, with a combined volume numbering in the tens of units, effectively served specialized, lighter-duty niches and modernized factory upgrades. This distribution underscores our comprehensive capability to serve the full spectrum of overhead lifting needs.

2. Gantry Cranes & Flexible Solutions (Approx. 15% of Total Volume)
Demand for flexible, floor-operated solutions saw notable growth. Portable Gantry Cranes were a standout, with deployments well into the hundreds of units, capturing significant interest for cost-effective, modular, or temporary installations in construction, SMEs, and project-based work. Our MG and MH series gantry cranes, with a combined volume in the tens of units, continued to be the trusted choice for robust, long-term outdoor applications in shipping yards, storage lots, and large-component assembly areas.

3. Hoists: The Driving Force (Approx. 42% of Total Volume)
As the essential “lifting engine,” hoists formed the largest volume segment, highlighting their ubiquitous and critical role across all industries.
- Chain Hoists were our top-selling product line, with units shipped numbering in the several hundreds. This immense volume, constituting over 21% of our total indicative sales, confirms their status as the indispensable, go-to tool for assembly lines, maintenance bays, workshops, and any application requiring reliable, compact vertical lifting.
- European-style Hoists showed the fastest growth trajectory within this category, with volumes growing into the mid-hundreds of units. This surge represents the market’s accelerating shift towards energy-efficient, compact, low-maintenance, and intelligent hoist design, integrated into both new crane systems and modernization projects.
- Wire Rope Hoists (CD & MD Series) continued to be reliably specified, with a steady volume in the hundreds of units, serving as the core component for standard overhead crane builds and demanding standalone lifting points.

4. Specialized & Auxiliary Equipment (Approx. 17% of Total Volume)
This segment showcased our capacity to solve specific and evolving operational challenges.
- Jib Cranes proved essential for optimizing workstation efficiency, with a stable and significant deployment volume in the hundreds of units across machine shops, warehouses, and production cells.
- Modular Light Crane Systems (KBK), though smaller in absolute volume numbering in the tens of units, represented one of our fastest-growing categories by percentage, signaling a strong market move towards highly flexible, reconfigurable production and logistics solutions.
- Winches and other auxiliary lifting tools maintained a steady demand in the tens of units, servicing critical needs in construction, marine, and energy sectors.

Looking Ahead: Market Trends & 2026 Outlook
Based on the strong momentum and clear patterns of 2025, we forecast several key trends for the coming year:
- Acceleration of Modularity and Flexibility: The significant and growing investment in KBK systems, jib cranes, and simple gantries points toward a sustained industrial shift. In 2026, we expect demand in this flexible solutions segment to grow at a rate potentially 1.5 to 2 times faster than the traditional crane market, as manufacturers prioritize adaptable production lines and rapid layout reconfiguration.
- The Efficiency Mandate Intensifies: The remarkable sales growth of our European-style hoists is a leading indicator. We project that in 2026, over 30% of new hoist specifications in upgrade or replacement projects in mature markets will explicitly demand Euro-style features. The focus will expand from the hoist itself to complete, energy-optimized crane systems with smart controls.
- Consolidation and Value-Addition in Core Segments: While overhead cranes and standard hoists will maintain their dominant volume share, competition will center on integrated value. Customers will increasingly bundle their purchases with smart motion control systems, remote monitoring packages, and advanced safety features. Suppliers offering this technological integration as standard will capture greater market share.
- Growth in Project-Driven Demand: The steady volume of gantry cranes and winches is tightly correlated with global infrastructure and energy transition projects. We project this segment to experience stable, project-led growth in 2026, supporting new facility builds in renewable energy, data center construction, and large-scale manufacturing expansions.
At Dongqi Crane, the data from 2025 not only measures our success but, more importantly, maps the industry’s trajectory. We are committed to innovating alongside these trends, expanding our portfolio of efficient, reliable, and intelligent lifting solutions to help our clients build a more productive and competitive future.
We look forward to partnering with you in 2026.
Sincerely,
The Dongqi Crane Team
